Who would be using the site?

The redesigned landing page and website for Moć Shoes serve as an essential platform for customers to explore and manage their interactions with the brand. Account holders are granted access to personalized dashboards where they can view order history, track shipments, and download invoices. Additionally, they can manage their profile settings and access exclusive product details, ensuring a seamless and enhanced shopping experience

The primary objective of the redesign is to enhance the usability and efficiency of the Moć Shoes website, ensuring a seamless experience for all customers. The redesign will focus on optimizing key features, improving navigation, and elevating overall user satisfaction with the shopping experience

A little research can go a long way!

Given the short timeline, I conducted a quick competitive analysis, which is essential for gaining insights into the user experience landscape. A particularly effective approach was examining customer reviews of competitors. By analyzing these user-generated opinions, I uncovered valuable information about strengths, weaknesses, and user preferences. This process revealed hidden opportunities, identified market gaps, and informed our decisions to create a superior shopping experience that truly resonates with Moć Shoes customers.

Outdated & lacking personalization

The initial landing page failed to take into account the branding colors, accents, or any WCAG guidelines.

It was paramount to keep in mind that our site was meant for customers mainly based in Colombia and other Latin American countries. This affected our layout and copy.

New Designs, new features

The redesigned e-commerce platform for Móc Shoes introduces innovative features that align with the brand's evolving business goals and design direction. The focus was on creating a seamless and user-friendly experience, improving transparency and accessibility for customers. Through the redesign, users now have easier access to product information, size guides, and order tracking, enabling them to make informed decisions and stay in control of their shopping journey. Additionally, the enhanced interface fosters trust by integrating educational elements, such as style recommendations and fit tips, empowering customers to navigate the platform with confidence. This approach not only provides greater clarity and transparency but also supports users in their shopping experience, building loyalty and satisfaction with Móc Shoes.

Looking back now!

Given more time on the UX/UI redesign project, I would have taken the opportunity to conduct a more comprehensive analysis of our competitors. This would involve a deeper dive into their design strategies, feature sets, and user feedback. By gathering a broader range of information, we could uncover industry best practices and identify potential areas for differentiation and improvement.

Additionally, I would have sought more feedback from our current users regarding their experiences with the existing website. This could include conducting further user interviews, surveys, or usability tests to better understand their preferences, pain points, and desired features. This user-centric approach would provide valuable insights for prioritizing design enhancements and ensuring the redesign closely aligns with user needs and expectations.

By performing a more detailed competitive analysis and gathering extensive user feedback, we could further refine and enrich the redesign process, ensuring that the final product not only meets business objectives but also delivers an exceptional user experience that exceeds expectations."
